In 2013, photographer Zack DeZon Kickstarted a book project about young actors, based on a six-degrees-of-separation-based theme. “I started with a group of actors I knew from college (I studied Theatre) and asked each one, ‘Who do you think is most likely to succeed?’ I photographed their answers and continued the process. This image is of Jessica Rothe, a friend of a friend (2 degrees out), who was staying in a writer’s ‘retreat’ apartment in exchange for babysitting her child.”
[Shot on a 5D Mark III, with a 24-70 f/2.8 II lens. Ambient light filled with an off camera speedlite in a white reflector umbrella.]
