How to be a successful photographer

That's quite a title, don't you think? Well, success comes in many forms. You might want to

Take better photos
Share your photos and get comments about them
Sell your photos
Be a professional photographer

Or something else. Whatever your goal is, to my experience, the key to the success is this:

Be diligent. Take a lot of pictures. Go on, take another one. And another one.
Be persistent. If you don't succeed at first, try again. And again. And again.
Be creative. Learn to think outside of the box.
Learn from the others. Examine the photos taken by others. For example, read a lot of photography books.
