“Film didn’t die with Kodak’s Chapter 11” bankruptcy filing in 2012, says the Financial Times. The British newspaper aired the 8-minute segment above that explores the renaissance that appears to be going on in the world of analog photography.
“Only a few manufacturers now make film and much less of it, but celluloid appears to be making a comeback.” Renewed interest in older technologies has also been found in other industries as well: in the music industry vinyl record sales surged by nearly 50% in 2014. Might we see something similar happening with film photography?
