Samsung today announced the NX500, a mirrorless camera that stuffs many of the features found in its flagship NX1 mirrorless camera into a tiny, portable body.

Inside the camera is the same 28-megapixel APS-C backside-illuminated CMOS sensor that can capture 9 shots per second with an ISO range of 100 to 25600.

On the back of the camera is a tilting 3-inch 1.04-million-dot LCD touchscreen that can point forward, allowing users to “easily take the perfect selfie,” Samsung says.

Other shared features include the hybrid autofocusing system, 4K video recording, and built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.

The Samsung NX500 will hit store shelves starting in March 2015 in black, white, and brown versions. It’ll have a price tag of $800 and come bundled with a 16-50mm PZ kit lens.
