Mark Raymond Mason: Daily Photo Tip

Some neutral density filters will add a slight colour cast to an image. The colour cast won't always be blue, like a polarizing filter - it may be any colour. With experimentation, you may be able to remove it by applying a correction to your white balance setting. (First published Mar 21, 2010)
