Mark Raymond Mason: Daily Photo Tip

Shooting with an LCD screen at arm's length is slightly less stable than shooting with a viewfinder pressed against your face. Because the viewfinder forms a third point of contact, the camera may often shake less. (First published Aug 29, 2010)
