Zeiss

Thanks to a speed of f/1.8, very low depths of field can be used creatively by Anderson with her new Zeiss Batis lensWith a focal length of 85mm, the Zeiss Batis 1.8/85 lens is an ideal companion for portrait, event and wedding photographers—so much so that it earned a spot in Rf‘s October Buyer’s Guide among the other most lust-worthy lenses.

Developed especially for mirrorless full-frame system cameras by Sony, the autofocus lens is fully compatible with all E-mount cameras and offers protection against dust and splashing water. Optical image stabilization allows for successful hand-held shooting even in poor light conditions and, for creative work, the distance and depth of field can be read from the OLED display.

Sony_2

Anderson will be able to capture movies and stills in captivating detail with Sony’s new RX100 V, a compact camera ideal for on-the-go wedding and portrait photographers. This camera inherits the RX100 series’ 1.0-type image sensor and advances with 0.05-second autofocus and 315 AF points for comprehensive phase-detection coverage. It also allows for continuous shooting up to 24 fps and can record 4K movies.

Manfrotto_2

Anderson will also enjoy Manfrotto’s Pro Light 3N1-35 PL camera backpack with a split-second camera quick-draw option. This design goes beyond a standard backpack—it offers multiple active carrying options in one, morphing from right sling to backpack to left sling to x-position, ideal for the needs of busy, on-the-go photographers.

McLain will receive Manfrotto’s Advanced Rear Access Backpack which can be used as a DSLR backpack, a laptop backpack or a daypack. She can also take the protective camera case out and use it as a camera insert inside the daypack. The lower compartment is large enough to hold a professional DSLR body with three lenses and the zipper hides on the backside (next to your body), which gives maximum security to your equipment. An upper compartment has additional room for personal items and a laptop compartment fits up to a 13-inch laptop.

Hahnemuhle_2

Anderson, McLain and Thorn will also receive the ultimate sampling of Hahnemühle’s most popular 13 x 19-inch fine-art papers:

Anderson has won one 25-sheet box of the Fine Art Baryta 325gsm, ideal for black-and-white output and able to handle extremely high density and fine grey tones.

McLain has won a 25-sheet box of the Photo Rag® 308gsm—the most popular paper chosen by photographers—which is made of 100 percent cotton and comes with a fine, smooth surface that can produce top color or black-and white-prints.

Thorn will be presented with one 25-sheet box of Fine Art Baryta Satin 300gsm, a paper that enables extremely deep blacks and offers excellent image sharpness for hi-resolution and vivid output.

ProMedia

Anderson and McLain will also get their pick of products from ProMediaGear.com, specialists in producing custom camera brackets, video sliders, ball heads, gimbal heads, carbon fiber tripods, camera supports and more. Made in the USA, ProMediaGear products are ready to assist in taking your photography to the next level, whether you’re a seasoned pro or aspire to shoot like one.

X-Rite_2

Anderson will also take home X-Rite’s nifty i1 Photographer Kit, ideal for achieving on-screen color accuracy as well as fast and efficient color control from capture to edit. The kit includes two of X-Rite’s top color tools: i1Display Pro and the ColorChecker Passport Photo.

Anderson has also won a gift card to AcrylicPress.com! Capture your cherished moments with the dynamic color and detail of acrylic prints. AcrylicPress.com offers a line of modern and stylish acrylic prints including photo blocks, wall art, home decor and personalized gift items.

fotocare

Each of our winners will also receive a gift card to FotoCare.com. Buy or rent top camera and video equipment at Foto Care’s retail storefront—located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood—and at fotocare.com.
