Graham Scobey, who with his wife Ashley makes up photography duo The Scobeys (Rf 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography in 2012), captured this engagement portrait in New York City’s Central Park, “a place that meant a lot to our couple,” Ashley says. While the location is a beautiful and romantic spot for portraits—not to mention the gorgeous natural light that reflects beautifully off the tiled ceiling—the biggest challenge Ashley recalls was finding a quiet moment amid the New York City chaos.
“Central Park is a very busy place,” she says. “Managing to get the shot was tough and required a lot of patience, but it was worth it in the end!”
(Captured using a Fuji X Pro-2 with a 35mm lens.)
