Rangefinder online: Zeiss Has a New Batis Telephoto Prime Lens for Sony Shooters

Sony a7 owners have some new, high-end glass coming their way. Zeiss announced a new Batis E-mount lens in its lineup.

The new 135mm f/2.8 lens supports autofocusing and offers optical image stabilization. The lens stops down to f/22 and can focus on objects as close as a little over 2 feet with a magnification ratio of 1:5.3.

The Batis 135mm lens boasts an OLED display for focusing distance and depth of field info. It’s also dust and weather resistant.

Look for the Batis 135mm in May for about $2,000.
