Attention photography students: the PDNedu Student Photo Contest is now open for submissions. The contest is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, students in a certification program related to photography and, for a special high school category, high school students.
The contest provides an opportunity for winners to get their work published in the Spring 2018 issue of PDNedu and to get on the radar of creatives, fellow students, professionals and photography enthusiasts. One select Grand Prize winner will receive a $1,500 cash award and seven other Grand-Prize Category winners will receive a Nikon DSLR camera, a $150 B&H gift card and a portfolio review.
All winners and Honorable Mentions will receive a PHOTO+ membership and will be published in the Spring 2018 issue of PDNedu, which is distributed to more than 1,400 schools in the United States and at Society for Photographic Education (SPE) events. An online gallery will be promoted to the entire PDN network of more than 475,000 followers, which includes many top photo editors and art directors seeking fresh talent.
Past winners have included Ilona Szwarc, Joshua Rashaad McFadden and Jeremy Underwood, to name a few. So what are you waiting for? Learn more and submit your work at contest.pdnedu.com.
