A recent graduate from Kent State University, where she studied Visual Communication Design and Photography, Emily Prusak is interested in the intersection between design and photography.
In “Arguments & Eruptions,” Prusak captures the senior thesis collection of fashion student Alanna Lizun. The collection is inspired by the connection between man and nature. “Her collection shows an arc from peace, to argument, to resolution,” Prusak told PDNedu.
In order to bring the clothing to life, Prusak decided to focus on color and lighting. “We decided to shoot a white, red and location shoot to show the full breadth of her collection.”
