121clicks.com: The Women of North East India: Stunning Portraits By Christina Dimitrova

Majuli, Disappearing Island.

Majuli is a dream. Still far away enough. Completely different from the rest of India. Nestled between the mighty Brahmaputra River’s ever-shifting sandbanks, Majuli is the world’s largest deltaic island.

Women in this area are remarkably beautiful. I was stunned by their elegance and charm, how they all walk in grace and beauty. I found myself standing in front of them with all my respect and admiration.
